Sounds of Solidarity

We live in a time where voices are repressed, ignored, and erased. There is a constant pressure to silence the voices of those with intersecting and oppressed identities. In an effort to create a space where voices can be heard, this workshops aims to build a community of storytellers that value and celebrate intersectionality and the way that our identities have shaped the way we have grown in a unique understanding of ourselves. Participants will be able to express creativity the happiness, grief, pride, and multitude of other emotions that their various life experiences and/or identities have lead them to learn from. A final showcase will be shared with our community so that together we will all create a space where we can listen, learn and love.
