About this Event
Presented by Dr. Bradley W. Hart, Associate Professor, California State University, Fresno
This talk will examine the extremist groups that threatened American democracy during the Second World War. Most Americans remember the years as a period of national unity and shared sacrifice, but In reality, the United States was deeply divided, with far-right groups advocating an American version of Nazi Germany. This event will look at how the country’s leaders ultimately ensured that Hitler’s American friends were defeated.
